Hayley Duquette is a business law attorney with experience advising technology companies on corporate and intellectual property matters. Hayley is successful at translating technical or otherwise complex information into clear writing. Her experience includes contract drafting as well as advising clients on legal issues involving trademarks and copyrights.
Prior to joining West Hill, Hayley was a Certified Student Attorney in the Suffolk Law Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship Clinic. Here she gained experience counseling entrepreneurs and start-up businesses on intellectual property matters while finishing her degree. Hayley also litigated a case before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Hayley gained experience in legal research as an Intern at the Fidelity National Law Group in Boston, MA and as a Judicial Intern at the Essex County Probate and Family Court in Salem, MA.
Hayley received her J.D., with honors and a concentration in Intellectual Property Law, from Suffolk University Law School in 2020, where she was the Chief Content Editor for the Journal of High Technology Law and a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity. She graduated magna cum laude from Endicott College in 2017 with an undergraduate degree in English.
